SCRT Middle School II-August 24-29, 2008
Location: Hancock Field Station (John Day Fossil Beds)
SCRT Fall Program - November 15-23,2008
Location: British
Columbia, Canada
For the third year in a
row the salmon camp program will be visiting Victoria, BC
area on Vancouver Island. In past years participants have
been able to participate directly in a variety of hands on
activities with lots of opportunities to handle some big
live salmon!
Due to the fact that we are visiting Canada all participants
need to have either a passport or an official copy of their
birth certificate, a photocopy will not work. Obtaining
these can take some time so if you are interested try and
get this process started ASAP. This program is designed for
High School students but we could make some possible
exceptions for Middle School students. This program requires
missing a week of school but the activities and life
experiences gained more than justify this. I would be happy
to speak with school administrators to help facilitate this
process.
