Salmon Camp Research Teams
Salmon Camp Research Teams are intensive, resource management programs that include natural science, advanced technology, and career exposure for students with Native American Affiliations who are entering grades 10–12. Students are given the opportunity to interact with professional researchers in a variety of project areas and become familiar with advanced technology used in the field. Special emphasis is put on helping students move into college programs that suit their interests. Enrichment activities continue into the school year.

Please note:  Due to changes in funding, stipends are not available for this program.

Please contact Salmon Camp Manager, Steve Tritz at steve@salmoncamp.org or call 541-382-1771 to enroll in these programs.

Respect is the over-arching principle. Salmon Camp represents a place where everyone can explore, learn, and have fun without being harmed in any way. All participants – youth and adults – are to be treated with utmost respect. Another guiding principle is this: If you don’t think an action would be considered respectful, then don’t do it. Maintain the highest standards of conduct – like those taught by your parents/guardians, grandparents and other teachers.
